Writer’s Block – a painful term for any author out there. As the word says blockage which means you mind ,creativity blocked in a nutshell. It happens to every author in the world .When you are high on creativity, penning down a masterpiece and suddenly the flow of words, writing , prose, creativity is lost. You feel digressed and threw off your draft and blame nobody but yourself. Write’s block is basically the struggle an author goes through. Lets find out how an author faces this situation.
Hurrying up
Most authors don’t have a patience to write and complete a story. Before completing the one he is writing, he/she thinks of the next novel/story concept. It heavily impacts his creativity as he/she is pushing too far to complete the current book to expedite the completion of current book.
Worry
Worrying too much affect your creativity. Authors have apprehensions, fear of critiques ,expectations from audience to appreciate his/her work. If the mind is choked with these thoughts, it will act as an impediment in your writing.
Over Ambitious
When an author becomes over ambitious, he/she loses the creativity.Always strive for the best content you can write, don’t think you have to be the best author . Write a best selling content which will turn you into the best selling author which you dreamt of. This should be the top priority for every authors.
Now how can an author overcome these shortcomings ? Honestly speaking, I have no exact answer to these as these thoughts ridicule and play with our mind. In order to tame these pitfalls/write’s block , I can list the following which works perfectly find when I think I have lost my touch. This way I come out from this writer’s block .

#1 Take break
Whenever you are bogged down, take a quick stroll around. Feel the surroundings outside.
#2 Drink water
Drink lots of water . It will keep body in dilute state and your mind will stay afresh.
#3 Music
This is my favourite. Whenever I am losing my writing touch, I listen to music as music is no doubt mood enhancing and music serves me the gateway to the creative world . Automatically new ideas come down my head and I start writing with new vigour.
#4Yoga
Yoga and exercises keep your blood flowing and you can concentrate better. Any form of physical exercise is mind booster. It can be running, walking, jogging and even dancing.
#5 Talk to your friend
Call up your buddy and have a friendly chat. This can relieve stress . Discuss about your favourite movie, favourite sports or whatever you like to discuss.
#6 Believe in yourself
This is most important . If you have no faith in yourself, you cannot succeed as author or whatever goal you pursue in life. You need to believe in your dreams and act . Power your brain and storm into those creative ideas and pen down a masterpiece.
Conclusion
There are so many ways you can overcome this writer’s block. But it’s you who can create your authorship .Thus believe in yourself and keep writing.
