We all believe we are self worthy individuals. How can you define self worth? Humans are all unique individuals in their own way. We come along in different sizes, colours. Many times in life we fail to live up to the potential which we always aspire to be. The failure to attain the true potential of oneself leads to depression, lack of self belief and one feels that he/she is not an worthy individual. This is a wrong judgement we undertake when we feel hopeless and at the same time feel we have no value in the society. Society or the environment is nothing without humans. Without humans, civilization won’t exist. So its you, it’s we who are foundation pillars of society.

Now let me tell about human values. Human values are virtues of each individual which we cannot judge as we are all different. Sometimes those values are tested in dire circumstances and we get shattered feeling worthless. How can we recover from this mindset . Its killing our confidence. Let me share with you the following points which may help you regain your self worth.

#1 Never lose confidence

The first step to regain self worth is to feel confident. Without confidence, you cannot move ahead in life. The surroundings govern the human behaviour. You might have seen sometimes when you walk side, we see lot of strange people and sudden fear grips our heart when that stranger looks into your eyes. Why this happen ? It happened to me and it must have happened to you as well. The reason is pretty simple. You are low in life and you are fearful. Scariness automatically grabs you even if the stranger is harmless. You need to conquer your fear and be confident .You should not be scared of anything, anybody if you have done nothing wrong in life. So walk with shoulders held high as a proud man/woman. Remember confidence is key to success in any sphere of life.

#2 You don’t need to prove to others

Since childhood we have been hearing that we are born to prove our capabilities to people around. I strongly disagree on the fact. You need to prove yourself you can do better , not to your friends, colleagues, peers or whatever. It’s your dream and if you compete with yourself you will find success . Self worthy comes from within. Nobody can rate your self esteem. Only you know your values and stick to it .Your self values is what made you today. That’s why never heed on what others’ say about you.

#3 Accept your failures/mistakes

Every humans make mistakes . That’s why we are humans. Most of us cannot take failures/mistakes. It’s quite natural after putting a mammoth effort in a task, you are not able to achieve your goal and you feel so helpless.You start to think yourself as a loser and cannot digest this fact questioning your self worth, belief and self esteem. Never think failure is your destination. Simply accept the fact and move on to some other task and who knows you will eventually be successful in some other task you may never have imagined.

#4 Eliminate negativities from the surroundings

Our mind works as per our surroundings. You should never stay in a cluttered place , house .The surrounding neighbourhood should be congenial for living. Before staying in a locality, do some research on the environment – the people and everything. You need to have your own comfort zone at your house. If the place is noisy, unhygienic, leave the place as it impacts on your mind and eventually health. Always find a house where enough sunlight comes in. Morning sunlight is benefit for health and it destroys bacteria, germs from the house. It also gives positive energy vibes to your lifestyle.

#5 Keep smiling to bring back your self worth

Smiling is the greatest cure for any mental pain. You need to be cheerful always no matter how pulverising situation you are going through. That shows a lot of character within you and it is a tough thing to do. Remember the tough people smile even in tough situations. That shows the endurance power to face any kind of pulverising situation.The smiling also gives inner strength which will help fight all the odds and you will regain your self confidence.

#6 Be grateful

Always be grateful to the life we have. There are so many unfortunate people across the globe. Their story may be dreadful, we can hardly imagine the struggles and pains they might have gone through in life. But still they lifted themselves up and made wonders in their life and thus defining the value of self worth in exact possible way.

#7 Think out of the box

Be innovative in your approach. Think out of box and it will make you believe you can dream big and make it happen. You will realise the true definition of self worth which will make you superior to your colleagues at work. Try come up with solutions to any problem which others may not have thought. In the end , you will always be ahead in the game and will be appreciated for your work.

Regaining self worth, self esteem is completely dependent on you whether you want to move ahead in life. Remember you are the creator of your own destiny. Just keep aside the misfortunes, failures as these are part and parcel of life. Go ahead and dream big. Your will restore your self worth, self confidence and will be successful in your endeavours.
