15 Reasons Why You Must Write Daily

In this article, I am going to discuss why everyone must write daily. We all have multiple hobbies in life. Every humans are governed by their inner passions to excel in activities other than professional fields. That gets them going in their mundane life and it is amazing to see some people excel so well in their hobbies/passions that they make their hobbies as their full time profession. It can be anything – dancing, singing, painting, reading books in the leisure time. Among the several productive activities done in the leisure time, writing is one such activity most people pursue to keep themselves busy. Some aspire to be successful writer, some successful bloggers and some simply write anything. I believe everyone has a story to share from his/her life and one must write and why everyone should write daily.

#1 Stress free

Everyone is so busy in the world of commitments and professions, people hardly find time for themselves. After a long day work, we tend to come back home in a rush without giving much time to ourselves. Writing makes one stress free. If you just write something or anything, you will realize you have done something productive. It can be anything – a poem, an essay. It doesn’t matter how your day went .You will find solace through your writing.

Writing helps you to get into your creative zone and let you pen down stories, novels. It is often seen creative writers write rigorously for hours daily. Deep thinking will take you to the world of imagination and a writer pens down those creativity on paper and make wonders. I believe everyone of us has some amazing stories to share and that creative side has to be explored and written down to show the world that everyone has a hidden creative side.

Writing helps you build your own personality. In reality, you may be a shy person, but writing gives you freedom to express. Your writing should define your personality and people must be able to identify your style of writing.

Writing gives faith to restore your lost confidence. When you are demotivated in life, you must do some productive hobbies to keep you motivated. Writing is such kind of hobby yo keep you motivated and help you regain your lost confidence or faith.

Writing can groom your presentation and interpersonal skills. The more you write, the more errors you can find in your writing . Here you will be your own examiner and can rectify your writing mistakes which we may have not realized before. Thus you grow as writer and presenter.

Regular writing would not only help you build your writing skills but also propel you to lead a disciplined life. I can assure you a person who is fond of writing always possess a sense of maturity, calmness and always sounds intelligent to others. Thus you must write to be a disciplined and well mannered person.

We need to stay away from distractions in our life. Electronic gadgets, smartphones, mobiles have been a major distraction to us at work and even at home. Thus if you dedicate small of leisure time after work in writing,you can keep these distractions away and can change your life for better. Definitely the more you write on something , you will not only hone your writing skills ( grammar, spelling, tense ,etc) but also you will do research on any topic you are trying to write down. Thus it writing will enable you to know lot of subjects which you may have studied theoretically but may have forgotten . Thus writing helps you learn new subjects as you are doing more research before writing something .

#9 You must write to Increase your Memory

This is no brainer that writing habits can increase or boost your memory power. If you are a student, then writing daily will boost your memory power helping you to remember your answer during the exams. If you are a professional, writing will help you retain your memory power and you will not forget easily what you have been writing daily for business purpose or learning purpose or penning down a creative writing.

#10 Writing keeps you track of your tasks

If you want to keep track of your daily work tasks or personal tasks, writing a journal is must. This is very important and it will increase your productive at life and work.

#11 Writing can get you recognition

This is for all the creative writers who aspire to be great authors. These authors basically live on their writing and some dream of becoming a recognized author. Although any dream seems as easy but in reality, few people make their dream come true and that requires hard work. There is only one formula to be a successful writer/author/blogger – write something every day and keep on writing.

#12 You just need a Laptop or a Piece of Paper

You need just a piece of paper or laptop to get started. It is as simple as that. I prefer writing on piece of paper for the draft version. Once completed the draft, write the final version in computer. It’s up to you if you prefer writing on paper or laptop.

Writing is to express your emotions, happiness , sadness, anxiety on the paper. It actually gives a new meaning to your life and can serve you identify your true life purpose.

Lot of people live in solitariness. Not everyone has the comfort of living with someone. Some travel and work daily in different place. Thus when these people return home from work, they can write something to beat their loneliness. Writing can make you realize you are not alone as you will so much engrossed in your writing and you will make writing a wonderful habit.

#15 Writing can make you calligrapher

Writing not only can make you successful author , you can be a successful calligrapher. It you are inclined towards calligraphy skills, definitely you must write everyday and make your dream come true.

Writing is an art and it doesn’t mean you need to possess the intrinsic skills of writing , you will hone it once you write daily and will fall in love with writing. Try bringing out the writer from your heart and pen down a masterpiece you would be proud of.
